The question of scar tissue in open rhinoplasty

Lately, because open rhinoplasty is preferred mostly, noticeable scar tissue may be questioned by the patients.  There is no external incision in a closed rhinoplasty. In open rhinoplasty, there is a small incision on the columella between the nostrils. The ones inside the nostrils are not visible. This incision used in open rhinoplasty is made in an inverted  -V  healing easily. It may be noticed a couple months with a slight hypertrophic and inflamed appearance, but it completely disappears with time. It stays in a hidden location under the nose as imperceptible. So really for us, the surgeons, that is one of the least important details concerning the open rhinoplasty as a whole.
